Provantis for brokers
A grounded practice-level view of conduct and cyber readiness: cited findings, a deterministic remediation order, and dated evidence that a compliance practitioner or authorised insurer reviewer can assess.
Self-service practice plans: Essentials R1 950/month · Growth R3 500/month · Professional R6 000/month
Start with the actual capacity
FAIS and the applicable conduct code govern authorised FSPs and representatives rendering covered financial services. Record the firm’s licensed capacity and service beside the finding.
Most independent non-life Category I brokers are not directly in JS2’s defined scope. A broker may separately meet a listed category, and may also face insurer-specific contractual or oversight requirements.
POPIA duties follow the responsible-party or operator role and the processing. FICA duties depend on Schedule 1 status and the business performed; item 12 excludes advice or intermediary services solely for a non-life policy.
The working sequence
131 readiness rules across 99 conduct and 32 cyber checks. Website observations remain distinct from human attestations.
Citation-backed findings are ranked deterministically. Assign an owner, due date and status; customer records closure evidence and the event trail. Provantis does not automatically fix or close gaps.
Issue dated, versioned evidence with a public code and SHA-256 verification. Verification confirms an issued file is unaltered; it does not approve its contents or guarantee acceptance.
Practice evidence, not a certificate
A clear limit
Provantis provides readiness support, not a legal opinion, audit finding or certification.
It does not submit evidence or returns to a regulator or decide that evidence is sufficient.
Evidence can be presented for assessment; acceptance, premiums and coverage remain outside the platform.
