Provantis for insurers

Controlled pilot · 90 days · initial cohort

Oversight evidence,
within clear boundaries.

A controlled, consent-bound pilot for a defined initial cohort. It is designed to let governance teams test an oversight workflow before considering any wider estate scope. Provantis is not an open network, a regulatory decision-maker, or a substitute for insurer accountability.

The accountability stays visible

Ask for evidence. Keep the boundary.

01

Cyber and third-party oversight

An insurer as defined in the Insurance Act is directly in scope of JS2 from 1 June 2025. Apply proportionality and distinguish the insurer’s own duty from requirements it places on third parties. JS1 applies directly to licensed insurers, other than Lloyd’s and branches of foreign reinsurers, for material outsourced functions; the insurer retains accountability.

02

Binder arrangements remain insurer-owned oversight

An insurer using a binder arrangement remains responsible for establishing and overseeing a compliant written arrangement. A binder holder does not replace that accountability.

03

Sharing is invited and revocable

A named broker or UMA must accept an invitation. The participant explicitly selects tenant-owned records to share, and can revoke a share or relationship. That closes the consent episode and prevents further report or data access.

Controlled workflow

A review trail, not an implied outcome.

01

Agree the cohort and request

Before access, agree the named entities, relationships, records, report levels and pilot governance. Managers then invite named brokers or UMAs; no record is available until that participant accepts and explicitly shares it.

02

Review with an exception record

The pilot can test a reviewer workflow for accepted, rejected and time-limited exception records. Notes, reasons and expiry remain in the event trail; files are size-limited, malware-scanned and integrity-checked.

03

Assess the permitted view

The pilot can produce disclosure-limited relationship summaries and frozen report artefacts. {{ commercial_pricing.insurer.portfolio_terms }}; portfolio and board reporting are not generic plan inclusion.

Pilot evidence boundary

Traceable views at the right level.

Sourced readiness and evidence-status viewsOnly the assessment records a participant actively shares are in scope. A participant does not thereby receive, or grant, unrestricted network access.
Integrity-verifiable pilot artefactsFrozen reports preserve issuance identifiers and hashes. Verification can show that an issued file is unaltered; it does not approve or validate its contents.
Shipped internal oversight reportingPortfolio and board views are shipped internal oversight reporting, available only for explicitly shared records in entitled, separately scoped relationships. No generic deployment or approval claim is made.
Revocation boundariesRevocation prevents further report and data access. It does not silently turn a previous consent episode into continuous access.

Pilot terms

Scoped before access

Participating entities, assessment packs, permissions, report levels and pilot governance are defined by conversation before access is provisioned.

No automated decision

Provantis does not make review decisions, submit anything to a regulator, or guarantee counterparty acceptance or insurance outcomes.

No self-service insurer route

This is a controlled, scoped insurer pilot. It is not a public snapshot, checkout or self-service onboarding flow. No insurer checkout or signup route is available.

Commercial route

One available route.
One separately scoped capability.

The controlled pilot is the only insurer route currently available. Internal oversight reporting is shipped and available only in explicitly shared, entitled, separately scoped relationships.
